The duo’s third album is both a declaration of love to Franziska’s home canton Valais/Wallis and a homage to Swiss art song. The point of departure is the song cycle “Lieder us um Tal” (1981) (“Songs from the valley”) by Eugen Meier (*1934), which is expanded with selected songs on the same theme by Swiss composers of the last two centuries.
